Interesting, sad, outrageous, and depressing to read..

They intended to give him up to 30 years.
Huh?? The scholarly articles he downloaded represented research that had been funded by TAXPAYERS ….so in what world does that mean that a university, publisher or government owns it? We own it.
Extreme government actions always have the direct opposite (intended) effect. America’s youth, new voters and soon to be voters, all of whom certainly loved this guy, will be more likely to vote libertarian. Early today, my husband went to a nearby pistol range to practice. This place has a very large store nearby where guns and ammo are sold. Because of the stunning Executive Order banning assault weapons, the store had completely sold out ….of everything! Guns, ammo …everything !!
We are in a tail spin. Unprincipled decision-making never has a happy ending.
Well said, Ro!
And to focus on this gifted man..
That he would take his own life, to be at such a low point in his thoughts, because of the persecution of our own government!?
